"This programme brought together leaders in philanthropy and other sectors to discuss actions that will contribute to and sustain the growing sector of indigenous philanthropy in development. Themed Philanthropy in Africa 2015: People, Policy and Practice. The programme sought to foreground the contributions, ideas and experiences of critical constituencies such as women, youth as well as other marginalised groups of African citizens to the growing field of African philanthropy and also highlighted pathways to policy moments and opportunities to shape an enabling policy."
