Since being diagnosed in the 2000s, a sexworker living with HIV provides peer support to other sexworkers at a health center for sexworkers in Kiambu, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Nariobi, Kenya. The Key Affected Population Health and Legal Health Rights Alliance also known as the Kenya Sexworkers Alliance runs several health centers in counties around the country. These centers provide health and legal support to sexworkers in need KESWA has been able to support sexworkers through assistance from the African Women's Development Fund (AWDF).
