Catherine Mailu, a counseler at the Center for Rights Education and Awareness (CREAW) in Nairobi, Kenya talks about the counselling services offered to surivivors of domestic violence. CREAW has been able to offer counselling and legal services support to women experiencing gender-based violence during the Covid-19 pandemic which led to a spike in domestic violence cases during the stictest phases of Kenya's lockdown. The African Women's Development Fund (AWDF)  has provided support to CREAW for this project.
