As part of our 10th Anniversary celebration activities , AWDF is organizing an educational tour for donors and friends of AWDF to visit selected grantees in Kenya, Uganda and Ghana. Donor Trips have become an exciting and increasingly popular way for non-profits working internationally to highlight their achievements. We believe that the tour is one of the most powerful ways to deepen the partnership between donors and grantees, strengthen the understanding of women's rights issues at the local level, and inspire greater philanthropic support. This document is meant to give donors participating in the tour a bird's eye view of some of the activities that our grantees in East Africa have carried out with the funds they received from AWDF.
