Let Me Be A Child: A Simplified Booklet on Relevant Children Laws for Refugee Children
Children are considered one of the most vulnerable members of society. As such, they often fall victim of crimes,
exploitation and abuses. Although most children are considered vulnerable, children in displacement context such
as refugee children face more vulnerability. Refugee children are forced to learn how to grow and enjoy their
childhood in difficult circumstances, some of them having witnessed and lived through some of the most traumatic
violations of human rights. To address this issue, the Refugee Consortium of Kenya (RCK) with the support of United Nations Children's
Foundation (UNICEF) has developed this Children's Information Booklet dubbed "Let me be a Child" to raise
awareness amongst refugee children and their parents/guardians on their rights and obligations.Children are considered one of the most vulnerable members of society. As such, they often fall victim of crimes,
