Three partners —L’Association D’appui et d’Eveil Pugsada (ADEP) in Burkina Faso, Réseau des Associations de Femmes en Action pour le Développement (RAFAD) in Senegal, and La Ligue Ivoirienne des Droits des Femmes in Côte d’Ivoire convened spaces that facilitated discussions on collective care, well-being, and healing. Cumulatively, these spaces reached approximately 150 participants, including women and girls facing psychological trauma, young activists, feminist leaders experiencing burnout, women in insecure contexts, and LBTQI+ individuals with topics on holistic health and movement sustainability. Following these engagements, L’Association D’appui et d’Eveil Pugsada (ADEP) went on to document Indigenous strategies for collective care (Le Bien-Etre Holistique: Prendre Soin De Soi A Tous Les Niveaux).
