Abstract: The report presents the findings of the study that assessed the effects of armed conflict on women in Gulu district, Northern Uganda. The study documented women's experiences and examined the effects of war on women's health and economic status. In addition the study explored the role of women, their participation, coping mechanisms during war and after the war.
